Annotated bibliography reflection

Although there are some sites where it is explained who posted the information, most of tthe sites i have do not have the name of the author. This makes the reliability of my information doubtful. I could have continued searching for more trustworthy and reliable sites.

How is it useful
This site explains how sending children into the wilderness helps breaking their videogame addiction.
The site does not state who made it but they do have their own number if people need help, and they answered many other questions.
This is useful because I can include the information into my project, and tell one of the many possible ways to cure video game addiction.

This site talks about the many symptoms of a video game or internet addict.
It is from the previous site, but it answers a different question.
This helps because I can ask someone to fake the symptoms for my documentary. To give the people an idea of what to look out for.

It talks about if we need a Videogame addict anonymous show to stop video game addiction.
This was written by a student in Bryn Mawr College for a course, he did not make this to make people think we do need a video gamers anonymous but rather to make people think about it.
This can be helpful because it shows how serious video game addiction is.
This talks about how both genders are attracted differently to video games and why.
It is from the first site I mentioned
This can be helpful because I can explain why boys are more addicted to video games than girls.
This talks about a video game detox center was opened, about what addiction is, some signs, what not to confuse with video game addiction.
It was made by CBS News
It helps because it is another proof of the seriousness of video game addiction.
It talks about how clinics for video game addicts are appearing a bit everywhere.

This was made by Eric Bangeman

Eric arrived in high school about the same time as the first personal computers, cutting his teeth on an Ohio Scientific Challenger 2P with a whopping 4KB of memory. In the years since, he acquired a BA in history, an MA in theological studies, and made it about halfway to an MS in computer science. He lives in a house full of computers and other gadgets in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. In addition to reading and writing about technology, Eric enjoys bicycling (but not running), refereeing rugby, collecting coins, gardening, and spending time with his wife, two children, and airedale terrier.
This is yet another proof of how serious video game addiction is.

This clarifies the confusion about what video game addiction is and gives some information about it´s symptoms.
The person that wrote this is a gamer himself and has a bachelor degree in psychology.
This can help because I can use it to clarify things about video game addiction.
This once again talks about symptoms of game addiction and about treatment facilities.
This was made by someone called Lindsey tanner.
This helps me once again talk about symptoms and treatment of video game addiction.

This talks about the symptoms of addiction and some experiments conducted.

This is useful for the same reason as the other sites.

The product was partially successfull because: the viewers understood my point, but they were confused with the controls and instructions of the game. My performance at the planning stage was no very good, I made a simple yet effective plan but, i never followed it even though it might have helped. For the creation part of the project my performance good but should have i been more motivated and used some lunch periods to continue working on the project, it could have had a better result. The game may have a good impact on society, because now those who played my game know a bit more on how to make a successfull video game.

I used school computers for the creation of my game, i would ask for help when i was confused or lost in the project. I unfortunately do not follow the plan that i made, although even if i had it would probably have the same result. I did not make any modifications to the plan for 2 reasons, i forgot about the plan, and because it was so simple that there was no need for modifications.

15/1/2012
I have begun searching for information about video gaming addiction. I am having a hard time finding sites with actual information except for Wikipedia. I asked my dad to give an idea of what to type to get the information I would like, now I have found several good sites. I have begun typing up the information into my own words.
